Gifty Ampofo (Registered Manager)

Gifty Ampofo has spent 15 years in the care sector serving vulnerable individuals in nursing homes, supported living and home environments, giving them choice, independence, dignity and respect. She started as a support worker for substance abusers, before going on to work with people with learning disabilities and the elderly. Wanting to use this experience to continue serving others, she set up Nissi Homecare. Gifty's mission is to provide a service that puts you at the centre. Above all, she wants to ensure that individuals get a quality of service of the kind she could rely on if ever she needs a care and support service in the future.

Halima Yakubu (Care Manager)

Passion for people is at the heart of everything Halima does. Her 20-year experience as a pharmacist working with patients in the hospital and community setting has given her a first-hand opportunity in addressing medication needs and concerns of her patients. She is also able to provide the expertise that is needed to ensure our carers administer medicines to our clients safely. The managed care sector enables Halima to appreciate the impact of care provision fully; the joy, comfort and ease it brings to our clients and their families as well as the fulfilment it gives our team. This cause is totally fulfilling for Halima as she looks forward to enriching the lives of Nissi Homecare’s clients in whatever way she can.
